The time finally arrived. When all the string had been strung, trees had been cleared and bricks had been delivered. It was time to (finally) lay the first brick!
The troups were gathered (coerced) to assist. A wonderful huge thankyou to Bec, Kris, Kate, Finn, Bron and Pebbles for all their knowledge, assistance and entertainment during the two days.
We managed to make a good start on laying the double course of fired bricks which will be a base for the mudbricks. It is finally starting to look like the beginnings of a real building. It is also spring, some of the flowers are beautiful.
